Please tell us this isn't a new trend...

When we first saw a picture of Rachel Bilson wearing these slightly odd shoes, we were so distracted that we failed to notice what she'd teamed them with – but now another celeb lady has committed the same crime we can ignore it no longer. Denim turn-ups? Please... We find it slightly worrying that Rachel Bilson and now Katie Holmes have both stepped out in this unsightly combo. And, what's more, they don't seem at all embarrassed about it. Rachel especially is usually the celeb lady who is setting the trends, so we're very concerned that this one is going to take off. It just looks wrong, doesn't it? Not only do their legs look about 3 inches long, but they also very closely resemble drainpipes. We know baggy jeans are making a big comeback and we're very happy about that, but teaming them with the shoes you'd reserve for your skinnies? Not good. Maybe we're wrong, and you think this trend is going to take off. Please put our minds at rest by voting below.

I think the LAST thing she wants is another bunch of loons spouting forth their tripe at her. The bees would probably be a welcome relief.

I think, to be fair, that locked up with a load of scientologists is a pretty good party in ms holmes' book....but the bees could fly up the trouser legs, so it just might work!

It's all just PADDLE-ENVY! They wish they were in soggy England, on Brighton beach with a knotted hanky on their heads and a melted Mr Whippy in their hands, dodging the raw sewage as they stomp through the shallows!

What has tom cruise done to poor katie she was normal before all this scientology stuff as for rachel bilson she always looks cool no matter what the crazy trend.
