Heath Ledger investigation officially closed

Six months after Heath Ledger was found dead in a New York apartment, the investigation into his death has been officially closed. Over the past week, it was alleged that the US Attorney's Office was planning to enforce a subpoena against Mary-Kate Olsen in order to question her about Heath's death – but this has now been scrapped and the probe has been closed without any charges being filed. Mary-Kate was subpoenaed by a federal grand jury back in April, but her lawyer had been negotiating with the authorities ever since in an attempt to secure immunity for his client. Mary-Kate always denied having anything to do with the drugs Heath had taken, and said she had already provided "relevant information" to the investigators. Today's announcement concludes a very sad period for the showbiz world, as Dark Knight audiences the world over are being reminded of just what an amazing talent Heath really was by his stunning portrayal of The Joker.

tubbs he was great in 10 things i hate about you, even though it wasnt particularly challenging, it is his charm and humour that makes the film work, without him it would have just been fluff.

That aside I think it is a terrible loss to his family and friends. I hope now they can be left alone to carry on picking up the pieces and rebuilding their lives.

Honestly?, I've never really rated him as an actor. I loved Brokeback and thought he was brilliant in that (so was Jake), but I thought some of his other stuff was hardly the work of a genius, though I'm yet to see The Dark Knight. *takes cover*

If she is hiding something she is a knob! I just think its a total lack of respect to turn his death into gossip. Its a sad sad thing and she should not be making headlines off it!
