Peaches talks about night she ‘overdosed’
Peaches Geldof has spoken out about her ‘drug overdose’ three weeks ago, dismissing it as "something people go through in their lives, especially growing up in London." Peaches, 19, claimed that the incident was just a "bad experience" and says that the parallels being made between her and her mum Paula, who died of a heroin overdose, simply aren't true. She said, "If she died in a car crash, does it mean I'd have to run out in front of a car and it'd be history repeating itself?"

Lily shelves new release
Lily Allen has reportedly shelved plans to release her new album this month – because she is worried about going head-to-head with US newcomer Katy Perry. The dark-haired star, who has been hailed as America's answer to Lily Allen, went straight to the top of the charts yesterday with her debut single I Kissed A Girl. Her first album, One For The Boys, is due to be released next month and would've clashed with Lily's Stuck On The Naughty Step, which was due out later this month. Lily has now allegedly halted her album's release until next year. Despite the comparisons, Katy has played down the similarities between herself and Lily, saying, "I think I sound different to her. She's in a league of her own." Katy Perry does have some very famous fans, however – Lindsay Lohan apparently requested the single I Kissed A Girl to be played in a club over the weekend...we wonder why.

Gail’s hair has started to grow back!
Gail Porter is over the moon – her eyelashes and eyebrows are growing back! The TV presenter, who suffers with alopecia and has lost all of her hair, said, "I have brows and lashes again. This is the calmest I have been for years." Gail lost her hair following her divorce with husband, Toploader guitarist, Dan Hipgrave, and her balding was put down to stress-related alopecia. She was told she had only a ten per cent chance of her locks growing back but she's revealed that it looks like she is on the mend. Brilliant news, Gail.

Blake out by Christmas
Christmas is usually a happy and joyous time we all look forward to – but this year we're feeling a little differently. It was confirmed this weekend that Amy Winehouse's wayward husband Blakeincarcerated could be out of jail by New Year's Eve – if his good behaviour continues. Not only that, but Blakeincarcerated has been told he may be allowed a weekend visit in the next few months if he manages to behave and stay away from drugs. Blake's mum, however, is concerned that a weekend visit with Amy could spell disaster. She said, "We’re hoping that his probation officer will advise him to stay with us. If he’s linked with drugs on his weekend visit he will lose the right to come out early." The official line from both Blake and Amy's camps are that the pair are both doing well in their battle to beat the drugs, but we all know from past experiences that they are a bad influence on each other. Suddenly it seems like it's far too close to Christmas, doesn't it?
