If Jade and friends thought their treatment of Shilpa Shetty was just harmless teasing, they’re in for a hell of a shock – the police have now formally recorded the abuse as a racial incident. Hertfordshire police force are launching an investigation into the alleged racist bullying, after receiving dozens of complaints. “Hertfordshire Constabulary will not tolerate racism in any form and is taking these allegations seriously,” says a spokesman. “The constabulary has experience of investigating and resolving incidents in the Big Brother house in past seasons.” Yikes.
