Want to be Paris Hilton's new best friend?

Cast your minds back a few years, if you will, to when Paris Hilton first appeared on our screens in The Simple Life. If you forget all the fragrances, idiotic comments, weird boyfriends, spells in jail and crotch-flashing that's occurred since, you'll actually remember that Paris was actually quite funny to watch. Not "funny" as in she's an actual comedian, more that her natural personality is amusing. Don't pretend you weren't going around calling everything and everyone "hot" for about a month, because we certainly were. Anyway, keeping all this in mind, we were rather excited when we heard that Paris is making a brand new TV show – and this time it's just for us in the UK. The airhead heiress will star as herself in ITV2 show Paris Hilton's New Best Friend, where – you guessed it – she will attempt to find a British best friend. ITV2 are very excited about the new series, and hope it will be one of the "key" shows in the new autumn and winter schedule, with one source saying that Paris is "exactly the type of person we want at ITV2". The show will see a group of wannabes put together in a house, with Paris gradually eliminating them until she finds her new BFF. OMFG! There's no word yet as to how these "eliminations" will be decided, but we reckon to be Paris Hilton's best friend there's a number of skills you'd have to have. Shopping? Coordinating your clothes to your bag/car/make-up/pet dog? Oh, and we reckon she'd like a friend with bigger feet than her – we all know how she loathes her size 9s. We actually think this show is going to be utterly fabulous, but what do you think? And would YOU like to be Paris' new best friend?
