Ricky Martin has twins with surrogate

Matt Damon and his wife have just welcomed their second daughter, while Jennifer Garner has confirmed her pregnancy and now Ricky Martin has become a dad. Yes, that's right, Livin' La Vida Loca Ricky – we were surprised too. The unmarried Latin singer welcomed twin boys via a surrogate mother a few weeks ago. Surrogate mother? *raises eyebrow* The star's PR released a statement which read: "The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care. Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children." Ricky has always refused to speak out about his sexuality, and once told TV talk show host Barbara Walters, "I think that sexuality is something that each individual should deal with in their own way. And that's all I have to say about that." Well, that told us. We, er, suppose congratulations are in order for the new father.
