Can Rihanna REALLY be totally skint?

She’s had number ones all over the world (we don’t mean in the toilet sense although, let’s face it, she probably has done wees all over the world, too) and is always dripping in designer wares, so we’re a little shocked to hear that Rihanna is, apparently, skint – by pop star standards, anyway. According to her former business manager Patricia Williams, who was “let go” recently after being accused of pinching stuff, the singer has just $20,000 (about £10,000) to her name. “It’s not my fault that she only has $20,000 to her name,” says Patricia. “I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off. I now feel compelled to share with the world the background story as I will not allow my name to be slandered.” Patricia claims that Rihanna’s record label, Def Jam, don’t fund her properly, so that any money she makes is used to pay for her albums and music videos. Hmm, it all sounds a bit fishy to us…
