Bankrupt Kerry could be forced to sell assets:
Yesterday, we told you the news that Kerry Katona had been declared bankrupt – after she failed to pay £82,000 of an outstanding tax bill. Further details have now emerged, and it's now looking likely that Kerry could stand to lose a lot of her lavish assets, including her husband Mark Croft's fleet of flashy motors. The star treated her man to a luxury sports car last year, which had a whopping price tag of £115,000 *spits tea across desk*. Other assets include a £12,000 motorbike, and two other vehicles worth in excess of £160,000. Experts are now saying that Kerry clearly needs help with her "overspending" and that her habit of splashing the cash may stem from her fragile personality. The star's publicist Max Clifford said, "Kerry's obviously very upset," but he then went on to claim that her unpaid bill was down to a few cheques which had not cleared, and that the matter would be rectified by the middle of next week. Kerry still earns over £1million a year from her various deals with magazines and her Iceland job, but it would appear she's blown most of it. If Kerry fails to pay the outstanding bill in an allotted time, an official receiver will then move in and seize her non-essential assets to pay what's owed. What do you think about all this? Mel C pregnant with first child
Congratulations are in order this morning – because Spice Girl Mel C has confirmed she is expecting her first child. The 34-year-old singer, who has been with her partner Thomas Starr for six years, says she is "delighted" with the news. A source close to Mel said yesterday, "Melanie is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mum for the first time." It's taken her a while to catch up with her other Spice pals, but the girls are all said to be "chuffed" for her and have promised to be on hand if she needs any parenting tips. "Melanie loved being around their kids kids on the band's recent tour," continued the source, "She's delighted that she's now one of the gang." Mel hinted at her plans in a recent interview, saying, "I'm sure that babies will be part of my future." Once the little tot arrives, it will be the eighth Spice baby – bless. Congratulations, Mel!

Richard and Judy wave goodbye to C4
Today is a momentous day. No, nothing to do with the sodding Olympics – today is Richard and Judy's last day on Channel 4 *sobs quietly in corner*. After seven years of their show, and 26 years of working together on Granada TV, the couple are waving goodbye to terrestrial TV and quitting the world of daytime *throws self on floor, bangs fists on carpet*. No more Ali G impressions, no more Judy telling Richard to shut up...er, until their new show starts, that is. Ricky and Judes are moving to new digital channel UKTV, to front a new 60-minute primetime show, which sounds an awful lot like the current one, if we're honest. So thank God for that.
 
Gwen Stefani has baby boy
It seems like she's been pregnant for about a squillion years, so we're sure Gwen Stefani is as pleased as us that she's finally dropped her sprog. And...it's a boy! And...they've given it a silly name! Now there's a suprise. The new addition to the family, called Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale *raises eyebrow* was born yesterday and weighed 8.5lbs. Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy, said a spokesperson. Hurrah. There must be something in the water today, because Location, Location, Location star Kirstie Allsopp has also given birth to a bouncing baby boy. The tot weighed in at a slightly heavier 9ib 3oz, and there's no word yet on the name. We're feeling all broody now... Congrats, ladies!
