Celebs writing novels is often disastrous – hello, Naomi Campbell – but this time, we're genuinely excited about this news of celebrity fiction and can't WAIT to read it: yes, Sharon Osbourne is writing a novel! New reports reckon that Shazza is getting a whopping £3million to write her first work of fiction, and that it'll be based on her time on The X Factor. “Sharon was approached in the spring to publish a work of fiction, loosely based on her dealings with reality TV contests," says a source. “She wants it to be a Jackie Collins-inspired romp, something shocking, saucy and witty – and a chick-lit hit. Friends reckon it’ll be dynamite, and a thinly-veiled parody of her time on The X Factor." Is it just us, or does this sound like the best thing ever? Especially if Sharon includes a botoxed younger judge, loosely based on Dannii Minogue... *lets out loud cackle*. Mind you, we don't envy daughter Kelly having to read her mum's sex scenes – bleurgh.
