Jeez, it’s all doom and gloom today – Jade Goody’s boyfriend Jack Tweed has been sentenced to 18 months in jail after being found guilty of assaulting a teenager. Jack arrived at Chelmsford Crown Court this morning (without Jade – she was busy taking about her cancer diagnosis on GMTV) to receive his sentencing for the attack which he denied, and was told by the judge that both he and his friend James Mattock would serve nine months in prison before being released on licence. The judge said the attack with a golf club on Daniel Steele, 18, was pre-meditated. "It was a frightening scene and a traumatic experience," said the judge. "You went, it seems to me, with one purpose – to attack and to have a fight. Hitting someone about the head with a weapon is an extremely dangerous thing to do." While the judge accepted that there had been “goading and provocation” (Jack had been the subject of abuse from local youths, due to his relationship with Jade), he said that Jack and pal Mattock were both “culpable”. Jade and Jack were on holiday with Jade’s sons in the Lake District just last week. Although their relationship has had its ups and downs, she’s always said he’s amazing with her kids – we hope she copes without him.

You know, its, weird, whist her "rock" is in court which could be last time jade sees him, shes on tv talking about herself. All the best for both of them although. x
