Lynne's Britney revelations are major:
We always had a sneaky suspicion that Britney wasn't quite as sweet and innocent as she made out back in the "Baby One More Time" days – but even we were shocked when we heard this stuff. Britney's mum Lynne has written a tell-all book featuring tales about her troubled daughter, and some of the revelations are jaw-dangling. Lynne says that not only did Britney actually lose her virginity at the tender age of 14, but that her wayward daughter started drinking aged just 13, and was taking drugs by the age of 15! The memoir, entitled Through The Storm, explains how Brit went off the rails after appearing in The Mickey Mouse Club, first hitting the bottle and later sleeping with her 18-year-old high-school boyfriend. Later, when Brit flew over to LA to work on her debut album, she began experimenting with drugs and was even caught with cocaine and cannabis on a private jet. Lynne admits that she allowed Britney to sleep with her then boyfriend Justin Timberlake when she was 16, because she believed her daughter was in love and that Justin was "good for her". Furthermore, Lynne also confesses that she regrets allowing managers to take control of Britney's career, and feels like the young star was promoted as a sex object. Brit and her mum famously fell out in 2006, following the collapse of Britney's marriage to K-Fed, and have only recently begun to build bridges in their relationship. However, we're not sure how happy Britney is going to be about these latest revelations... One thing's for certain – we can't wait to get our mitts on a copy of this book!
 
Jade fears her cancer may have spread
Jade Goody was dealt another devastating blow yesterday, after doctors warned her that the cancer may have spread – and that she could only have 10 years to live. The BB star has already been told that she must have a hysterectomy and a course of intense chemotherapy, but now doctors are concerned that they may have caught the cancer too late. Jade will be undergoing more tests to determine if this is the case, and she also has to deal with the fact that she will not be able to have any more children. Speaking to a close friend, Jade said, "I am trying to be strong for my boys, but it's so hard. I know I need to be positive, but I could be dead before my boys are even grown up." Despite her obvious fears, Jade has been putting on a brave face, yesterday taking her sons for a haircut and to the park. Later in the day she even managed to smile after a white van banged into her Bentley, scratching it all down one side. She must feel as if the whole world's against her at the moment. Lily in trouble after revealing kidnap plot
Uh-oh, Lily Allen’s in trouble. Again. After the furore over her heated verbal exchange with GQ Awards co-host Sir Elton of John on Tuesday night, Lily’s managed to get someone else's knickers in a twist – and this time it’s the police and her kidnapped pal who are none too pleased with the singer. Never one to remain tight-lipped about anything, Lily Allen just couldn’t help entertaining the crowd at Tuesday night’s awards by regaling them with that bizarre tale of a pal’s kidnap – but now the police and the kidnap-ee are furious with Lil. London’s Met police had put a ban on publicity about the case – which of course, Lily managed to ignore. Her friend Charlie, the kidnap-ee, and the police have subsequently branded her “appallingly irresponsible”.
 
Cheryl axes Charlotte “apology” in Girls Aloud book
We can’t WAIT for the Girls Aloud autobiography Dreams That Glitter, not least because the name’s taken from The Best Song Of All Time, Call The Shots. But now, thanks to Charlotte Church, the tome may be a little skinnier than we would have hoped. After years of feuding, Cheryl Cole extended an olive branch to Ms Church through the medium of the written word – just for Charlotte to launch into yet another slanging match last month, when she called GA “five dogs”. Chezza was far from amused, and has now pulled her kind words. Ouch. A source says, “After hearing Charlotte’s remarks, Cheryl was straight on to the publishers to tell them to remove the passage. They weren’t best pleased to be tinkering with it at this late stage but said they would do their best.”
