Steph "spends the night" with Rex:
We admit, we were more than a little gutted when Steph (remember her?) was booted out of the Big Brother house in week one of the series – especially as there was definite sizzling sexual chemistry between her and Rex. Well, now the show is over *sob*, the pair have reportedly become close again – with Rex even picking the blonde lass over his own princess Nicole. Rex and Nicole allegedly had a HUGE fight at the Big Brother wrap party (there's a shocker) with Nicole eventually storming off home and leaving Rex with Steph and the other housemates. Steph, who has always maintained that she had Rex shared "moments" while she was in the house, has spent the past few months getting close to Rex's dad Robert – and it seems to have paid off. Following Nicole grumpy departure, Rex continued to party with Steph and the pair went to a hotel for the night after leaving London club sway. Steph is now telling pals that she and Rex got very cosy. One friend said, "Rex woke up with Steph yesterday after spending the night with her. Steph's boasted that she kissed and fumbled with Rex but they definitely didn't have sex." Onlookers at the bash reported that the night became pretty rowdy, and one source claimed that Steph and Jen were marching around "like they owned the place". Well, you can't begrudge these girls their five seconds of fame, can you? How the hell is Nicole going to react when she hears this news? Yikes! We wouldn't want to be Rex this morning...

Kate Garraway: “Ulrika’s unlikely to get the job”
It's one of those most sought-after jobs for women in the TV world – and it looks like it's going to be a feisty battle. Ever since Fiona Phillips announced her plans to leave the GMTV sofa, rumours have been circulating as to which TV star will take her place – and one of the names that keeps cropping up is Ulrika Jonsson. However, one lady of daytime TV has decided that she doesn't like this idea, and has decided to have her say. Kate Garraway, who has been doing it on the sofa with Ben Shephard for years *sniggers*, has voiced her concerns at the rumours, saying, "It's very unlikely that she will get the job. She is not a journalist and the job needs someone that has those skills." After blasting her rival, Kate then admitted, "I would really love the job, but I will stay on, whatever happens." Kate also admitted that she's not that sad about her colleagues's departure, saying, "It's sad for me that's she's [Fiona's] leaving, but I think it's good for the company. It's time for a shake-up." What do you think? Would you like to see Kate take Fiona's place as lead female anchor at GMTV, or are you just unable to look at Kate without thinking of her drinking breast milk after last night's documentary?

Naomi Campbell starts community service
Naomi Campbell has begun her 200 hours of community service for assaulting police at Heathrow Airport earlier this year. It’s not the first time Naomi’s been punished for behaving badly – she undertook some floor sweeping in a New York warehouse last year (punishment for throwing a Blackberry at her maid), and this time she was sent to help out at a day centre for homeless people in east London. And in true diva style, Naomi turned up ten minutes late for her community service, in which she washed dishes, served food and helped out with paperwork in the centre’s back office. But Ms Campbell insists she had a great time – and has invited her homeless pals and staff to her next show. She said, “I had a great time today. Everybody was so lovely and welcoming. I’ve invited them to my show and they’ve promised to come. I just want to keep my head down and get on with it.”
 
Heather Mills loses Apprentice role
Fresh from the revelations she’s to write a “work of fiction” about a model and her rock star husband (er….), and the claims she’s BFF with Queen Elizabeth II, Heather has been up to mischief yet again after annoying TV producers in the U.S. Who would’ve thought? Heather was set to appear on the American version of the Celebrity Apprentice, but has been dropped from the show after making a series of unreasonable demands – even demanding she make it to the final. A source at NBC says, “The network were originally very keen on getting her involved. But her demands were ludicrous and it soon became clear that getting her involved would be a headache. It was the final straw when she said she wouldn’t take part unless she was a dead cert for the final – even after it was explained that wasn’t how the show worked.”
