Jade preparing for her big op today:
Jade Goody headed into hospital late yesterday to prepare for an eight-hour operation which will take place this morning. The BB star is having a hysterectomy performed in an attempt to remove all traces of her cervical cancer – and is putting on a brave face despite being terrified. Jade headed to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London – a specialist cancer centre – with her mum Jackiey yesterday, and even managed a smile for waiting photographers, despite her obvious fear. A friend of the star said, "Jade is terrified – she's not in a good state at all. She has been putting a brave face on for her sons." Jade's ex Jeff Brazier will be taking care of the couple's two sons while the operation is completed, and Jade says she has not yet told her boys how ill she is, instead telling them, "Mummy has a tummy ache". The outcome of this operation is vital to Jade's recovery, but doctors have warned her that the cancer may have already spread. Jade admitted, "I have to face the possibility that I might not live to see my boys grow up." We'll be thinking of Jade today, and we sincerely hope this operation is a success.

Madge’s celeb pals turn out in force for London show
We all knew Madonna was in pretty good shape, but she proved just how good during her London show last night. The singer, who performed a whopping 22 songs, was happily skipping away as she sang Into The Groove flawessly, and went on to complete energetic routine after routine. It's enough to make us head for the nearest sofa for a little sit down. There were plenty of famous faces at the show last night, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz and Fergie. Watching from the centre of the arena, her showbiz pals whooped and clapped throughout the set, along with the rest of the awestruck audience. We can't believe how much energy the woman has! And there's over 40 dates to go. Maybe we should start skipping... *picks up skipping rope. trips over. smacks chin on floor*

Britney back for Christmas
Now that she's proved she can stand up, wear a nice dress and say a few things without dribbling or falling over, Britney's record company have decided to release her new album – in time for Christmas! Hurrah. RCA bosses want to capitalise on the new Britney and release a single in November, then the album and *SCREAM* some live shows in December. "They’ve been astonished by how well she’s managed to piece her life back together," says a record industry source. While we do feel like we've heard this before, this time, we're pretty hopeful it'll all come together. Team Britney!

Will Young’s really going for this kid thing
He's mentioned wanting kids before, but now he's at it again – yes, Will Young really wants kids. "I would love to be a parent one day," says Will in a new interview. "Obviously it won't be happenning soon because I am single. But having a family and bringing up children is something I have thought about a lot recently. Gay marriage is a great thing, It means more rights for same-sex couples. The idea of bringing up a child and helping them through life is something that appeals to me hugely." Alright, alright, we get it – YOU REALLY WANT KIDS! Now, where's the back of that orderly queue?
