Have you ever regretted telling a hairdresser to "do whatever they like" to your hair? heatworld blames this phrase for a particularly bad boy cut we had once which took three YEARS to grow back. This is why we feel a little bit sorry for Fern Britton today. It's not that her hair looks that bad, it's just that it appears to be clamped around her head. We're not sure whether she looks more like Velma Dinkley from Scooby-Doo or like someone about to enter battle in the Middle Ages. There's a definite helmet-like quality to the shape of that cut. Still, there's a bit of length there, so at least Fern can have a play with it to make it look a little less severe. Maybe we're wrong and you think her new do looks great? There's only one way to tell us...
