Jade Goody’s cancer spreads:
Jade Goody has received more devastating news from doctors – her cancer has spread further than originally thought. The Big Brother star was diagnosed with cervical cancer last month, and was forced to undergo a hysterectomy in an attempt to remove the cancer. But the disease has now spread around her abdomen, and Jade – who is currently recovering from her operation in London’s Royal Marsden Hospital – now faces a year of chemotherapy and radiotherapy as a result. Jade had hoped her bout of chemotherapy would take six to nine weeks, but she now faces a much longer course to fight the disease. A source said, “This is not her worst nightmare – that would be dying and leaving her children. But it comes pretty close. She had hoped that she would not lose all her hair. But now she has been told that she will definitely lose it all because the chemo will be much stronger. She’s really, really upset. Jade is really worried that she will feel so ill and weak that she won’t be able to look after the boys or do anything.”

X Factor Boot Camp categories announced
As The X Factor continues to get better and better (thanks in no small part to the wonder that is Cheryl Cole – we’re in love!), heatworld has learned just who exactly has got what for the Boot Camp categories – and it should make for a very interesting competition. Simon Cowell takes charge of the 14-24-year-old boys, while Louis Walsh has the groups. Cheryl has been allocated the 14-24-year-old girls, and last year’s victor Dannii Minogue has the old folks, er, over-25s – but she doesn’t mind. Speaking earlier this series, she said, “The ‘overs’ are very strong. No-one ever wants them but we’ve got some good ones this year.” We can’t wait for the Saturday-night showdown – only three days to go until we get to see Cheryl! (and Louis. And Dannii. And Simon. Of course).

Kate Moss wants another baby
Kate Moss looks set to have her dreams come true – with on/off boyfriend Jamie Hince pledging to patch up their shattered relationship and caving in to her pleas for a baby. The duo are thought to have split because Kate wanted to start trying for another child, but Jamie wasn't quite ready for it. But Jamie, currently on tour with his band The Kills, is now said to have had a change of heart and is finally willing to talk all things babies, claiming their break-up is simply "a storm in a teacup". One of Jamie's friends said, "Jamie is upset Kate is being painted as this party animal who ruined their relationship with her wild ways. The reality is far from that. In fact, they split over her wanting to start trying for children. It's a problem that has been rumbling on for a while and came to a head recently. Jamie told her he didn't want to commit to that while things were still going well with his band and he was away on tour so much. But she argued that could remain the case for years and she didn't want to wait that long before having another child. Now Jamie misses her and has been struggling with the thought of being apart from her for good." Band-aid baby, anyone?

Jason talks about his "first time" with Kylie
Only yesterday we were reminiscing about Scott and Charlene's wedding on Neighbours, and now Jason Donovan has talked about the days when he and Kylie were an item for real. Speaking to Piers Morgan on his show, The Dark Side Of Fame, Jason admitted that the first time he a Kylie got it on was in a Travelodge in Sydney! "It was practical," Jason laughs, "It had a bed and a telly." The singer also talks about when he realised Kylie had become fed up with him. "I could tell something was wrong and she said it was over." Soon after Kylie broke things off with Jason, she got together with INXS star Michael Hutchence – but the former Joseph star says he didn't mind. "If you're going to lose someone, you might as well lose them to Michael Hutchence," he admitted. During the chat, Jason also tells Piers that he had his first line of cocaine while he was still in Neighbours, and that by 1994 he was doing "a couple of grams a day". Yikes! Now fully recovered, Jason finds it hard to believe he's still here, and said that when he famously collapsed at Kate Moss' birthday party, people thought he was a goner. We're just glad he's still here to talk about it...
