Heath’s daughter to inherit his fortune

Heath Ledger’s daughter Matilda Rose will inherit all of the late actor’s fortune – after the star’s family “gifted” his inheritance to the child. It was expected Heath’s ex-fiancée (and mother of Matilda) Michelle Williams would challenge Heath’s will, which was written in 2003, two years before Matilda was born, in which he left everything to his parents and three sisters. But the kind-hearted Ledger family have decided two-year-old Matilda should be the recipient of the star’s money. Heath’s father Kim says, “There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda.”

He was a great actor and its a very sad loss for his family but at the end of the day nobody forced him to take a cocktail of pills. His poor family and daughter especially have to live with the fact that he was a pill popper.

I'm glad his money will go to his daughter. No doubt he adored her to bits. And I'm still gutted about the tragedy of his early death. Such a shame, and such a waste of a beautiful, talented man.

What happened, almost certainly, wasn't meant to happen... That Heath's family have protected his beloved daughters future without a fight is to be commended. Not one of us can honestly say we haven't taken a stupid decision or made an unwise move.
