Uh-oh, Paris has made another song…

It’s time for heatworld to make a dark confession: we loved Paris Hilton’s Stars Are Blind single and still listen to it regularly on the privacy of our iPod. However, the rest of her musical endeavours well and truly sucked. Therefore, we were quite shocked to hear that she’s plugging on with “like, the music thing” regardless. Yesterday, the theme tune to Paris’s MTV show My New BFF debuted on US radio – and you can listen to it here. Pazza says she co-wrote the song with her boyfriend Benji, and the lyrics are all about her quest for a true friend. “Could you be the one I want? Could you be the one I need?" she sings (although she sounds a bit like a robot). “All of my life, don't you know I've been waiting... for my best friend.” Warms the cockles, doesn’t it? No? Oh, then we're sorry to have to tell you that the ever business-savvy Paris is planning to release the track as a single the same day the show premieres. So, what do you think of it? Our verdict: it’s not as good as Stars Are Blind and the lyrics are obviously cringe-tastic, but it’s quite catchy and generally not as gut-wrenchingly terrible as it easily could have been. So there.

What I mean is that if this song said "Britney Spears" on it then everyone would be like "omg i love it". Its clear this happens when people like Madonna release such songs as "The wheels on the bus" and get it into the top 40!!

I think its a great song, and thought not just 'stars are blind' was good on her first album. What really annoys me is that there is some complete rubbist out there but just because its sang by Paris Hilton people hate it!
