So, who's the early favourite to win X Factor?

OK, so we've only heard little snippets of their singing up to this point, but that hasn't stopped the bookies predicting which wannabe they reckon will be walking away with an X Factor recording contract. And, let's face it, we've all already got our favourites. Anyway, we can now reveal that Laura – she of the croaky audition voice and slightly weird Amy Winehouse rendition at boot camp – has been named as the top of the final 12 by Paddy Power, with odds of 3-1. Only a teeny tiny way behind her is Alexandra, and the two girls are followed by weepy Austin. The outsiders at this early stage in the contest are Girlband, who have odds of 50-1 to win. Still, as is always the case on The X Factor (well, perhaps not in Leona's year), the competition is still wide open. We literally can't wait to see how the hopefuls shape up in the live shows.
