While we’re busy being very excited indeed about this year’s X Factor contestants, it’s quite easy to forget all about last year’s lot. But they haven’t been consigned to a life of performing at Freshers Balls and holiday camps, quite yet. Last year’s winner Leon Jackson has been hard at work and he’s just unveiled the video for his new single, Don’t Call This Love, which will be available to download from midnight on Saturday. It’s quite jazzy and grown-up sounding, but what do you think of it? It’s followed by his debut album Right Now on 20 Oct. And it’s not just Leon who’s been hard at work, both Rhydian and Same Difference are due to release albums just in time for Santa to pop a copy in your stocking if you're good girls and boys. So, what do you make of all this X Factor activity? Excited, or not at all bothered?

Come on Leon would never have won had it not been for the duet with Kylie which really suited him. He doesn't stand a chance of a proper pop career. Rhydian on the other hand will sell classical albums by the bucketload.

I heard this before. I'm a Rhydian fan through and through and thought that this boring piece of crap should never have won. He's got a good voice but this song is just so dull.
