Beckhams' stolen items up for sale on ebay

Beckhams' stolen items up for sale on ebay:
David and Victoria Beckham were left devastated and "very shaken" yesterday after their housekeepers were arrested on suspicion of theft. Following a tip off from a friend, Posh's parents Tony and Jackie learned that some of the famous couple's personal belongings had been put up for sale on the internet auction site ebay. Items including designer dresses and some of David's valuable football boots were among the items being offered to the highest bidder. After discovering the news, Jackie and Tony immediately went to the Beckhams' home in Hertfordshire and found that the items were indeed missing. They then called the police. The housekeeping couple Eric and June Emmett, who are both in their fifties, have worked for David and Victoria for almost ten years. When police checked the address of the sellers registered on ebay, they discovered that it was the Essex address at which which Eric and June live. A source close to the Beckhams said last night, "They are both very shaken by the whole thing. It's bad enough, but to think it is allegedly people they trusted is even more horrific. Another pal said that David especially was "furious" when he heard the news. Posh fled home immediately to see exactly what had been taken, and she is said to be "very upset". The housekeeper June Emmett who, along with her husband, was released on police bail last night, said that she had done nothing wrong. "This has all come as a bolt from the blue," she said, "The whole thing has taken us completely by surprise." A spokesperson for the Beckhams stated, "The matter is in police hands."

Blake's mum: "Rehab is NOT the answer"
Amazingly, Blakeincarcerated's mum has spoken out about her jailed son, and claims that a spell in rehab is NOT the answer to his troubles. Mrs Civil says in a new interview that she believes the best thing for her son would be to "come home to us" and that rehab is "not the answer". Georgette Civil also went on to admit that she never speaks to Amy Winehouse any more, saying, "I don't speak to Amy. I focus all my efforts on my son and getting him out. I feel all the media attention on Amy has probably had an impact on my son's release." Hmm. But it wasn't actually Amy who committed the crime in the first place, was it? Talking emotionally about her jailed son, Mrs Civil goes on to say, "We don't know when he will be released." Apparently, though, Blake is doing "very well" in jail, and has taken to reading a lot and helping other inmates with their education. We're finding the image of Blake as the caring teacher a bit hard to swallow, but then again, you never know. One thing's for certain, Mrs Civil's going to have a fight on her hands if she thinks Amy will let Blake go straight home to her when he is released.

Dannii Minogue is Noel's latest victim

Noel Gallagher has blasted Dannii Minogue – saying she wouldn't recognise talent if it "kicked her up the arse." In his latest tirade, Noel let rip at The X Factor, sneering that the talent show "has absolutely nothing to do with music and everything to do with TV." Noel told the Radio Times, "If somebody is dangling this carrot of fame and fortune in front of a checkout girl from Barnsley who can sing like Britney Spears then they’re going to go for it.” Continuing his rant about the show he added, "You’re going in at the top with a Number One that sells 750,000 and you’ve got someone like Dannii Minogue telling you you’re really talented. If there’s one person in the room who wouldn’t know talent if it kicked them in the arse, it’s Dannii Minogue." Noel instead recommends the more old-fashioned way of getting yourself a record contract and earning a few quid, suggesting, "Instead of instant fame, your ex-boyfriends and girlfriends coming out of the cupboard and your family being ripped apart, the prize ought to be, ‘I’ll introduce you to someone who might introduce you to someone who might know a producer who’d record one of your songs’. That’s the only way to make money. Otherwise you sell 5 million records and earn 50 grand.”  Hee hee, we're loving Noel's rants – he just doesn't care who he offends. Please keep 'em coming!

OMG! Kate's given up the booze!

Apparently Kate Moss is so desperate to hold onto her man this time she has even vowed to give up the booze! We knew she was planning to cut back her wild partying lifestyle, but to become a tee-totaller seems a little extreme. It seems not, though, for Ms Moss, who has replaced alcohol with soft drinks and bottled water. A source confirmed, "Kate has been partying non-stop for years. At every working event she attends there is unlimited champagne. Since she has rekindled her love with Jamie she knows these leisurely drinks need to stop. Kate is older and wiser now and wants to settle down... She'd vowed to not go out as much and now she's decided to not touch a drop of alcohol unless it's a special occasion... People may think it's Jamie's orders but, although he is delighted, it is Kate's own doing."
