It’s official – Simon has a heart!

X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg mentioned on Saturday’s show that he was feeling sad about not yet meeting his newborn baby sister – and now good old uncle Simon Cowell has stepped in and made his dreams come true (again). Apparently, the 16-year-old singer broke down in years yesterday (again) because he was feeling so sad about the situation. But, instead of giving him a withering look or a clip around the ear, Simon arranged for Eoghan to fly back to Ireland on his private jet to see his mum Denise and little Chrissie-Mia. “His mum sent him a picture text of Chrissie-Mia and he kept looking at it and was constantly crying in rehearsals yesterday,” says a friend of Eoghan’s. “So his mentor Simon jumped to the rescue and organised his jet to take him home to Dungiven on Thursday. It will be a flying visit, as Eoghan is in the middle of rehearsals for this Saturday's show, but he is over the moon. Simon called him up personally with the surprise and that set poor Eoghan off again, but this time they were tears of joy.” Aww, it’s all quite sweet, isn’t it?
