Exciting offer for X Factor's Laura:
Amid news of petitions, outraged celebrity fans and discussions in parliament – there is one piece of really good news for rejected X Factor contestant Laura White. One of Laura's favourite singers Adele has confessed that she is a huge fan of the 21 year old, and would really like to sing with her during her next tour. Adele admitted, "I have been thinking about who I can duet with for my next gig in December and Laura just popped into my head. I would love to sing with her. I think she's brilliant." Wow, first Lily Allen and now Adele – Laura must be feeling better. We're keeping everything crossed that this one does actually happen. Laura admitted on The Xtra Factor a few weeks ago that she was a fan of Adele's, saying, "I love all her songs. I am such a big fan of her work." Exciting! In other X Factor news, it's looking worryingly doubtful that poor Diana will recover from her laryngitis in time for this Saturday's show, which could really jepordise her chances on the show. And it's not only Diana who's feeling poorly, her mentor Cheryl is also suffering after being struck down with the nasty throat infection. "She took the day off on Monday to recuperate and even postponed promotional work," explained a source, "She can hardly speak, her throat is so bad." Oh dear. We hope both ladies are feeling better soon.

Li-Lo and Sam-Ro to get engaged
Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson are about to get engaged! According to reports, the happy couple will fly to Paris tomorrow to chose their rings, before heading back to London where they will announce the good news. A source reveals, "Sam and Lindsay are in London first to help Sam raise her profile on this side of the pond. She's got sets booked but Lindsay's agreed to support her if it means she gets the photo ops needed. In the meantime, they've been planning a romantic getaway to Paris, flying out by private jet. After spending weeks discussing rings, they want to visit two leading jewellers there with their finalised design." Sam, who DJ'd at London's celeb haunt Chinawhite last night, and her girlfriend Lindsay are said to have chose "hip and edgy" ring designs and are "really excited" at the imminent announcement. Peaches and Max back on track
Peaches Geldof and Max Drummey have returned from a romantic break all smiles – defying rumours that their marriage is already on the rocks. The duo were in good spirits as they arrived back at their New York apartment following a visit to see friends and family in Boston. When asked about her relationship, Peaches is reported to have just grinned. A source added, "Peaches wanted to show Max she is committed to being with him, so agreed to go to hang out with his friends and family." Aww, young love and all that.

George Sampson to appear on Oprah!
It looks like Laura White isn't the only former reality show star to have some big celebrity fans. Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson has been invited onto Oprah, after the chat-show legend saw a YouTube clip of his dance moves. The young star's success has been mostly contained within the UK since his triumphant win on the talent show, but he has always said he'd like to move to America to further his dancing career.
