heatworld is very much looking forward to getting home tonight, ordering a take away, opening a bottle of wine, and settling down on the sofa to watch Children In Need (BBC1 7pm). There’s plenty of brilliant stuff to entertain you/convince you to hand over a few pennies for charity, Pudsey’s managed to book some great bands to perform, including Girls Aloud (scream), McFly (swoon), and Take That (scream and swoon), there’s a special Strictly Come Dancing episode which will see the presenters team up with the professional dancers, and a brilliant EastEnders musical extravaganza, which we’ve got a little clip of now. Look, it’s just above these very words. Even the Beeb’s newsreaders will be getting in on the fun with their annual live performance, and there’ll be a very special Junior Master Chef. It all sounds jolly good, don’t you think?
