It’s official – Madonna and Guy are divorced

As expected, Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s quickie divorce was granted today by a judge at the High Court in London. The hearing began at 10am and lasted just a few minutes, with their decree nisi declared without either of them present. A quickie divorce means that both parties have agreed to all terms, including how to divide up their various properties. Plus, the ex-couple will share joint custody of sons Rocco, eight and David, three – with Madonna expected to reside permanently in the US and Guy in London. Madge and Guy got married eight-and-a-half years ago at Skibo Castle in Scotland. In six weeks time, they will be granted a decree absolute. So, that’s that then, innit?

god i hate madonna - she just seems so much hard work - all this bloody no tv for the kids - ricidulous diet she forces them poor kids to eat.... god just lighten up woman ffs u used to be a right slapper but now u have morals.... whatever

in fairness, apart from a lot of media coverage they do seem to have handled this very dignified and privately, although madonna bitching about him at her concerts was a tad childish
