As we reported earlier, the opening of the Palm Resort in Dubai attracted many an A-lister. And, given that the dress-code for a £40million do at a £1.5 billion hotel is somewhat fancy, a lot of effort was made. We’re used to seeing the likes of Lily Allen, Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate-or-is-it-Ashley-haven't-
the-foggiest-soz Olsen looking kind of scruffy, but they were proper glam last night, along with Kylie, Charlize Theron and numerous others. So, who’s the belle of the ball and who should have got straight on the plane home in shame?

I don't like Daisy Lowes dress, it's a bit try hard what with her heaving bossom. I dislike Mary-Kates as it makes her look twice her age. What the hell was Tamara doing there? It's like she'd attend the opening of an envelope if it got her noticed.

Charlize Theron looks amazing - and suprisingly so does Trinny - beautiful dresses!! What the hell was that Olsen twin thinking, she looks a total mess!!!

Why no pics of the gorgeous Samanthan Ronson? She made an effort too y'know, she even wore a clean pair of socks! (with her jeans and trainers...)
