The truth about those Diana and Eoghan rumours

We hate to burst the cute bubble of sweetness that is the coupling of The X Factor's Diana and Eoghan, but we've just been informed that they are NOT, in fact, an item. Diana herself told heatworld, "Eoghan and I are just really close friends and he is my best friend in the competition." The young couple were rumoured to be more than just mates after members of the crew reported seeing them looking very cosy behind the scenes. However, Diana insists that there's only one man for her. "It is my boyfriend Chris who I am completely committed to, and it is him and my family who are my key support throughout the competition," she said. Diana's boyfriend Chris also told us, "Diana and I have a really close relationship and we speak every day. I am not threatened by her friendship with Eoghan and I will continue to support her every week at the studio." So, there you go, there is no romance. Sad face. We're sorry Chris, but we SO wish Diana and Eoghan would get it together for real. Just imagine how enormous their kids' hair would be...
