Esther Rantzen brands Nicola a terrible role model

Esther Rantzen has always been a straight-talking sort – and now, fresh from the jungle, she’s voiced her opinion on fellow I’m A Celebrity camper Nicola McLean. “I think we were all awestruck with Nicola’s boobs,” she says. “Silence fell in the camp and we admired them. Nicola is a very slim and slender girl and, as the days went on, she got thinner. When you are that slender, nature decrees that you have small boobs. In getting breast enlargements, what we’re doing is creating a totally impossible female shape and making it our ideal. I think that’s a problem because human beings don’t naturally come in that shape. Now, I’m not criticising Nicola [er, really?]. She knows what she wants in life and she’s going to get it. I say good luck to her. That’s fine, but it’s not good for kids to think that unless they look like that they’re not going to be attractive human beings. It’s not good. It’s not cool.” Do you agree with Esther that Nicola creates an unattainable ideal, or do those bountiful boobs not give you any bother?
