Girls Aloud supporting Coldplay at Wembley

We thought it was probably just an unlikely tabloid rumour, but now it’s been confirmed – Girls Aloud are supporting Coldplay at Wembley. Due to overwhelming demand (yes, even in these cash-strapped times), Coldplay have just added a new date to their tour next year – they’ll now be playing at Wembley Stadium on September 19th as well as the 18th. But, while Jay-Z is supporting the boys on the rest of the dates (namely, Manchester and Glasgow) they’ve roped in Cheryl, Sarah, Nicola, Kimberley and Nadine for the new date. How cool is that?! It might be our only opportunity to drag the man in our life (and no, we don’t mean our dad. OK, OK, we actually do – heatworld is lonely this Christmas) along to a Girls Aloud show! Still, it is very random, isn’t it? We want to see Apple Martin in the crowd doing the Biology dance routine!
