DVD finally leaves the jungle:
For a moment there, we thought David Van Day might go on and win I'm A Celeb, but last night the British viewing public decided they'd finally had enough of the star's constant wind-ups, and he was told to pack his bags and leave the jungle. David, who has entertained and infuriated us in almost equal measure, said his "work was done" as he left camp, explaining, "My work is finished. I came to entertain – I hope you enjoyed it." You can't argue that David was certainly the most controversial contestant this year, but actually living with him must have been tough at times. David told Ant and Dec, "Of course I'm disappointed, but my work is finished. There are three nice guys in there and they should be left alone." Nice guys, David? Are you forgetting that Martina is a girl? Asked about his constant feuding with WAG Nicola McLean, David admitted that he'd found it "easy" to bicker with her, saying, "I wound her up to show what she was like. She made it easy for me and helped me stay in so long." Hmmm, we bet Nicola will be thrilled to hear that. One person who was sad to see David go was presenter Ant, who admitted, "I'm absolutely gutted – he was brilliant." Do you think David was the right person to go, and who do you think will take the jungle crown this weekend?
 
Christmas Top Of The Pops line-up unveiled
Hoorah! After all the hoo-ha over the axing (and subsequent reinstating) of Christmas Top Of The Pops, this year’s line-up has finally been revealed – and it’s going to be a bit ace. Take That (scream!) Girls Aloud (scream! Etc etc…), Pussycat Dolls, McFly (scream, drool), Duffy, Kaiser Chiefs, Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris and the winner of this year’s X Factor have all been lined up to perform on the festive show on Christmas Day at 2pm – perfect post-Christmas dinner viewing. And even though the show’s being done as a one-off, Take That want to bring the show back on a regular basis. Mark says, “Top Of The Pops is a national institution. It should come back.”
 
Mr Motivator motivates again on GMTV
More good news as the powers that be in TV land bring back more old favourites – this time it’s Lycra-clad, bumbag and baseball-cap-wearing fitness machine Mr Motivator who’s making a return to our screens. After appearing on GMTV in the 90s, Mr Motivator will return to the show in January as part of a star-studded fat-fighting squad, which includes heatworld favourite Dr Hilary Jones. Yay. So what does Mr M have to say for himself all these years on? “Britain has got fat together… now it’s time to get fit together!”, he laments. Mr Motivator, oh how we’ve missed you.
 
Sinitta rates Simon Cowell's bedroom skills
Thought you knew everything there was to know about Simon Cowell? Well, we bet you weren't aware of this little piece of information. Simon's ex Sinitta, who also seems, rather bizarrely, to be his best friend as well, has decided to share a saucy secret about the music mogul – apparently he's very good in the bedroom. Eww. "Sorry boys," joked the former 80s pop star, "It's true – he's rich and good." Sinitta then admitted she would rate Simon as an 11 and three quarters out of ten in the bedroom department. The 42-year-old shared her, erm, interesting views as she discussed The X Factor finalists yesterday, saying that she believed Diana or Eggnog Eoghan would go on to win, but that she wanted Alexandra to scoop the top prize. We sort of admire Sinitta for being on such good terms with an ex, but we can't help but think this was something we didn't really need to know. As if Simon's ego wasn't big enough already...
