Guess what Katy had to say about her feud with Lily Allen...

Is it wrong that we were hoping this little war of words would keep going awhile? Either Katy Perry is, in fact, as sweet as the Cherry Chapstick she sings about all the time, or someone has told her that Lily Allen is not a good person to mess with. Whatever the reason, Katy has quickly apologised for her comments about Lily's weight, saying, "Yeah, I made a joke about [that] earlier this year. I was just kind of joking and trying to be funny." Um, is describing yourself as a "skinnier version" of someone really that amusing? We're not sure. Lily certainly didn't find it funny. Katy went on to say, "I didn't mean anything by it. Comedians are not necessarily to be taken super seriously." Hmm, do we detect a hint of sarcasm there, Katy? Knowing Lily, she'll have something witty to throw back soon. Either that or a rotten apple...
