Ooh, these X Factor voting statistics are fascinating…

Now, call us geeky, but here at heatworld we love a statistic. And, as you may have noticed, we also love The X Factor. Therefore, we’re a little too excited that ITV have now released the voting figures from every show in the series, the very same figures that are a closely guarded secret while the show’s actually on, and it’s extremely interesting stuff. We can reveal that Eoghan was the runaway winner for the first five weeks of the show – and in week one, Scott came second, which is funny, as we can barely remember who he is! Diana came out on top in week six – that’s the week she sung Yellow, and it was her first show back on stage following all that dodgy throat business – and Eoghan took a massive 31.79 per cent of the week seven vote, which was Take That week. Alexandra was getting middling amounts of votes until week eight when she came first with 24.53 per cent, with her mesmerising first performance of Listen (amazingly, though, JLS were only a teeny weeny bit behind her, with 24.34 per cent – close or what?!). Last week, the JLS boys won – largely thanks to Umbrella, we’d imagine (which makes us feel a bit sorry for them – if Rihanna hadn’t pulled out of the final, would they be the ones with the £1million record deal now?). And as for the final itself… in the first round of voting, Alexandra got 44.02 per cent, JLS got 30.65 per cent and Eoghan got 25.33 per cent and, after little Eggnog was eliminated, it was 58.34 per cent to Alexandra and 41.66 per cent to JLS, so they’re clearly popular boys. Are you shocked by any of those statistics?
