Nicola hits back at Jordan’s stretch-mark dig

Yesterday, we showed you pictures of Jordan apparently having a dig at rival glamour girl Nicola McLean, by showing off her tummy with not a stretch mark in sight. And we knew Nicola wouldn’t be able to keep quiet about it for long. “People have claimed that Jordan allegedly made digs about my stretch marks by excessively pointing to her stretch-mark-free stomach,” says Nicola in a statement issued by her management (wow, we love how seriously they’re taking this). “I don't know if that's true or not, but, if she did make a dig at my stretch-marked stomach, then she's an idiot. By making fun of my stretch marks, Jordan's insulting the millions of women around the world who have stretch marks. How rude! Yes, I have stretch marks but they are as a result of having a baby. My gorgeous son is worth a million stretch marks. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a stretch-mark-free belly but, the fact is, I don't! And because I'm a genuine, honest girl, I'd rather be real and show other women that there's nothing wrong with having stretch marks or imperfections. There's no way that I'm going to hide my stretch marks or be ashamed of them. They're no big deal. There's far more important things in life to worry about than a few stretch marks! I'd rather spend my time being a good mother and taking care of my son than stressing about a few lines on my tum.” Ooh, good statement – we agree with every word of it. We wonder how long it will take Jordan to bite back…
