Blimey, sounds like Katy’s ex is a tad bitter…

When you’re a regular, non-famous person going through a break-up, you’re constantly on the look-out for nasty, pointed Facebook status updates from your bitter and twisted ex – but when you’re famous, all that dirty laundry is aired even more publicly. Katy Perry and her long-term bloke Travis McCoy split over the festive season – and he’s wasted no time in laying into her in his blog. The Gym Class Heroes frontman has made it pretty clear that the split is not an amicable one, in some verses he’s written on his website that are very obviously about Katy. “We fight every night, now that’s not kosher,” it reads. “I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer, and wake up to be greeted by an argument again, you act like you’re ten. So immature, I try to concentrate on a cure. And keep lookin’ at the front door.” He goes on, “My friends always tell me how I’m lucky to possess, The best looking girl in the whole US. But every time you scream, you blow your finesse… Sometimes I wish you’d come down with lockjaw, So I don’t have to take in the breakin’, You treat me like a burnt piece of bacon.” Eek, he’s not happy is he? And since Katy’s such an outspoken sort, we wonder if she’ll be hitting back. OK, so keeping a dignified silence might be the mature reaction, but it’s also bloody boring…
