Uh-oh, Lily Allen’s only gone and opened her big mouth again – and, not for the first time, it’s on the sensitive subject of drugs. In a new interview with The Word magazine, Lily said that she thinks the risks of taking cocaine are blown way out of proportion. “The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you – you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer,” she says. “But that's not true. I know lots of people that take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work everyday, no problem at all. But we never hear that side of the story. I have no statement to make, I just wish people wouldn't sensationalise this thing that just exists.” Eek. Shadow Home Secretary Dominic Grieve has now criticised Lily for her comments. “There is no doubt that drugs fuel crime and wreck lives,” he said. “It's naïve to assume there isn't human misery and suffering associated with every drug transaction somewhere along the line.” David Raynes, from the National Drugs Prevention Alliance, added, “When someone like Lily Allen makes these remarks she is only harming young people who will at some point in their lives have to make a decision about taking drugs. We already have a major drug culture in the UK and she is affecting that.” Hmm, regardless of whether or not you agree with Lily’s comments, you have to admit she’s a bit silly to speak out like this – it was always going to create a big fuss, wasn’t it? Or maybe that’s what she wanted... what do you think?

Anyway you would like Lily would know better than to come out with comments like that.... unless she did it for the publicity! Doh.

I briefly knew someone, yrs ago who regularly took coke. He seemed ok at first but I soon realised he was a control freak/bully. His friends were scared of him. He didn't scare me and he took that as a challenge. He was a d1ck. Was well rid.
