Ben and Jen FINALLY announce baby name

Ever since Jennifer Garner popped out baby daughter number two a week ago, we’ve been desperate to know what they’d call her. Jen and Ben are one of our favourite Hollywood couples and their three-year-old daughter Violet is amazingly cute, with a name to match, so we were hoping they’d pick a good one. Anyway, the couple have now announced that their newborn baby girl is named... drumroll, please... Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck. Now, they totally nicked the “Rose Elizabeth” bit from heatworld’s six-year-old niece (we're so ahead of these Hollywood types), but what about Seraphina? Apparently it comes from the Biblical word “seraphim”, meaning “fiery ones”. Hmm. What do you make of it?

Rose Elizabeth would have been sufficient methinks - and much, much classier - s'pose she could drop it though

Ben played Bartleby in Dogma - who was a fallen Seraphin angel! Maybe they were going for the angel thing from that... And Alanis Morisette rocked as God!

A Seraphin is a horrible man, stingy and greedy (See film Séraphin: un homme et son péché - 2002 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0221013/)

Its a bit sad that I know this but Seraphina is the name of the witch in Phillip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy (the film 'The Golden Compass' was based on the first book)

OR: the biblical word SERAPHIN - meaning the highest order of Angels in ye olde Bible etc etc. Violet is cool, I love the old-fashioned names you don't really find anymore. Mavis anyone?! Jokes...
