Kelly axed from Britain's Got Talent
Oh dear. We feel very sorry for Kelly Brook this morning, as she's been axed from Britain's Got Talent – after only six days in the job! That's got a be a bit of a record, hasn't it? Simon only announced that Kel was joining the show last week, saying, "Kelly is great fun – and has absolutely no idea what she's let herself in for," which we're betting Kelly didn't read as meaning "getting the sack very publicly less than a week later". The official line for Kelly's dismissal is that the panel didn't work with four judges after all, and made the pace of the show too slow, but insiders say that as the auditions went on last week, it became more obvious that Kelly wasn't really right for the job. "You have to think on your feet to come up with something good to say each time," says a show source. "Kelly struggled from the start. Simon and the producers tried to give her advice, but it didn't seem to work." But sources close to Kel say that she was hired so last minute that she had no time to prepare, and was given no help from the other judges or the show's bigwigs – and that she is pretty upset. Oh dear, Simon – what a kerfuffle you've caused...

Michelle slags off Coolio...now there's a surprise
As this year’s Celebrity Big Brother enters its final week, the celebs are being voted off left right and centre in preparation for Friday’s final. Last night it was Michelle’s turn to face the boot, when she went up against Ulrika in a surprise eviction – but Michelle managed to wangle herself 67 per cent of the vote. Oops. When she came out of the house and was grilled by Davinia, she admitted she was a tad annoyed at how much time she spent blubbing, and made it known she wasn’t a fan of Coolio, branding him "very disrespectful" and that he's "playing a game" in the house. Now there’s a surprise… What did you think of last night's eviction? Did the right person get the boot, or would you rather have seen another celeb facing the boos?

Gemma: “Coleen and Todd for the Dancing On Ice final!”
The knives are out on Dancing On Ice – and the first female contestant to be voted off, Gemma Bissix, isn’t hiding her feelings towards judge Jason Gardiner after he dubbed her “a cardboard cut-out” on the show. Now, Gemma wants to get her revenge – by urging viewers to keep in the most, er, rubbish contestants, Todd Carty and Coleen Nolan, in until the final, in a repeat of last year’s John Sergeant hoo-ha on Strictly. She says, “Let's have a Todd and Coleen final. It will be brilliant. They could be another John Sergeant. The public have realised they are in control of the leaderboard. It will drive Jason mad if they carry on doing well. He’ll be furious when he has only the underdogs left.” Does this sound like a good idea, and which skating celebs do you think have what it takes to go all the way?

Mitch: "Amy nearly died twice"
While we were happy to see Amy Winehouse snuggling up to sexy new actor Josh in the Caribbean, some of her other holiday antics were a bit more of a concern. Reports that the troubled singer had been seen crawling on all fours, begging for alcohol and cigarettes and generally being a nuisance were not surprising, but worrying all the same. Well, now Amy's dad Mitch has spoken out to defend his daughter's behaviour, saying, "She is better. She was close to death twice. We have been working a lot to get her to where she is now." Asked why Amy had been seen crawling on all fours, Mitch simply replied, "She was just having fun, pretending to be a horse." A horse? Okaaay... Amy has now moved out of the hotel she was staying in and into her own villa, and she is also reported to have her eyes on a hunky sports instructor who works in the area. Whatever horsing around (sorry!) Amy's up to in the Caribbean, she still looks a lot healthier than she ever did stumbling out of a bar in Camden. We just hope she can keep it up.
