Justin and Alan just get sillier and sillier...

They like to be topical on The Sunday Night Project (Channel 4, this Sunday, at 10pm), and Justin and Alan have managed to spoof two very current celebrity stories in one of this week’s sketches. In honour of guest host Anne Robinson, the boys have devised their own version of The Weakest Link, with Alan as Queen of Mean Anne, Justin as a weepy, over emotional Kate Winslet and Anne as a dim witted, freshly dumped from Britain’s Got Talent Kelly Brook. Now those references we get; Kate’s OTT Golden Globes acceptance speech and poor Kelly being binned by Simon Cowell after about five minutes have been big news. But we have no idea why Justin also plays a dithering Prince Charles, and even more randomly why our very own Boyd Hilton was drafted in to play Sooty (you’ll just have to trust us when we say it’s him, as you can’t see his face). It’s all very silly, but then that’s what we love about The Sunday Night Project.

Come on Heat ! I would've thought that in your line of work you would have to be up on topical issues whether it's celeb news or mainstream news. Even if you didn't get the Prince Charles/Sooty reference couldn't you have made an effort to find out?
