Doctors say there is "little we can do" for sick Swayze

It's being reported that Patrick Swayze has decided to give up all medical treatment – after doctors told him that there was little they could do to stop the progress of his illness. The sad news comes just a year after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, one of the nastiest forms of the disease. Patrick Swayze has remained determined to beat the illness, but suffered a setback earlier this month when he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia. A friend said, "There's nothing more doctors can do for him. We are down to the wire and the goal now is to keep Patrick comfortable. His condition is inoperable and they have stopped the chemo. Patrick regards himself as a cowboy, and is determined to die with his boots on and no regrets." Speaking about his prognosis just last month, Patrick said, "I’d say five years is wishful thinking. Two years seems likely if you’re going to believe the statistics."
