New rumours about Dannii getting the X Factor axe

After her success with Rhydian and Leon Jackson, Dannii Minogue didn't have quite as much luck on the last series of The X Factor. Not only did none of her acts make the final, but there was all that business with Louis Walsh making her cry live on air and the rumours of spats with fellow judge Cheryl. Taking all that into consideration, it comes as no great surprise that Dannii is strongly rumoured to be facing the chop from The X Factor. A show insider has revealed, "It’s no secret they like to revamp the show every year. The chatter about Dannii going is deafening. But it has to be the right person, otherwise there is no point in replacing her." The word is that TV execs want to find a replacement who will be "as good as Cheryl Cole" and the bets as to who that person will be are already starting in earnest. Ladbrokes have named Charlotte Church, Lily Allen, Rachel Stevens and Sharon Osbourne as the most likely contenders to take over from the Aussie judge, but other names cropping up include Davina McCall, Kelly Osbourne and even Victoria Beckham! Yeah, right... Do you think it's time for Dannii to depart, and who would you like to see in her place?
