Jade's new terror as cancer spreads
Jade Goody was dealt a new devastating blow yesterday when doctors informed her that sadly, her cancer has spread. It was the news the BB star was dreading to hear, but unfortunately additional tumours have been discovered in her bowel, groin and liver, meaning that her chances of survival have been slashed to almost nothing. Doctors are no longer talking about successful recovery, and have instead confirmed that they will now treat the cancer to try to keep the star alive as long as possible. Jade was devastated when she heard the news, saying, "I am frightened and I am angry. I don't want to die because I have so much to live for." She was still in hospital last night following the diagnosis, with her distraught mum Jackiey at her side. Jade went on to admit, "The whole thing is absolutely terrifying. I am in a nightmare." Jade is expected to battle on with new types of treatment, in a bid to try to keep the cancer at bay for as long as possible and spend more time with her boys. Her boyfriend Jack Tweed was last night said to be "numb" following the news. Jade has also hit back at criticism that she's allowing cameras to document her battle, saying, "People will say I'm doing it for money – and they're right, I am. But not to buy flash cars or big houses. It's for my sons future if I'm not here." This is such a tragedy, and our thoughts are with Jade and her family.

Simon in talks to sign Posh to The X Factor!
When we saw Victoria Beckham's name on a list of possible stars to replace Dannii Minogue on The X Factor, we must admit we scoffed a little. Lily Allen or Charlotte Church, maybe – but Posh? Surely she's too busy jet-setting around the world to sit on a judging panel. However, with the star looking likely to move back to the UK if husband David joins AC Milan later this year, it could just be the perfect opportunity for her. Reports are now claiming that boss Simon Cowell is in "advanced talks" with the former Spice Girl, and has offered her a contract worth over £1million per series. Posh would join Simon, Cheryl and Louis, taking the place of Dannii Minogue when the new series kicks off in the autumn. A friend of the fashion-obsessed star said, "She doesn't want to come back to Europe with her tail between her legs. But if she can return here to be on The X Factor, then that is different." Oooh, can you just imagine how amazing this would be? And what about all that recent tension between Victoria and Cheryl? We're keeping everything crossed that this rumour turns out to be very true.

Comeback pressure threatens Britney tour
Just as she found out the good news that she'll be allowed to take her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James on tour with her, Britney has been hit with a new worry – stage fright. The pop starlet is reportedly suffering severe panic attacks as she prepares to take to the road, and friends say the pressure of her long-awaited comeback is really getting to her. "Britney is in danger of not going on tour. She's been telling her doctor she's under pressure," explained one source. "She fears her performance will be branded a flop." We can understand Brit must be nervous, especially after all the criticism following her disastrous performance at the VMAs and her slightly odd X Factor appearance – but we're sure this tour is going to be amazing. After all, she playing to thousands of her fans who have gone to see her – and they will probably love her whatever happens. We hope Brit manages to overcome her nerves in time for the UK leg of her tour. We've got our seats booked and everything!

Ant and Dec jail celebs
Exciting TV alert! As in, it sounds really rather rubbish but inevitably will be rather good. heat favourites Ant and Dec are bringing a new twist to Saturday Night Takeaway, which will see lots of Z-list celebs trying to escape from prison each week. Hmm… Imprisoned celebs including David Van Day, Linda Barker, Cheryl Baker, Chesney Hawkes, Philip Olivier and um, Orville the Duck will be set tasks by Ant and Dec in order to escape from jail – we hear there’s going to be slippery slopes, foam, motorised roundabouts and suchlike things for them to battle. We can’t wait to see them all make fools of themselves when Saturday Night Takeaway returns on 14 February – hooray!
