Distraught Rihanna ’bruised and bloody,’ says hospital source
More details have emerged this morning about the alleged assault of Rihanna by her R&B singer boyfriend Chris Brown. The couple had been snapped earlier in the evening looking as loved-up as ever at a pre-Grammys party, but reports are now suggesting that an argument over another woman – who Chris was allegedly "flirting" with – turned nasty. The bickering started in the couple's rented sports car, and eventually resulted in the Umbrella singer being left with "visible injuries". A source from the hospital where Rihanna was taken said, "Rihanna was distraught, she had bruises on her face, a bloody nose and sore lip." There have also been rumours going round that she had "bite marks" on her arms. Yikes! Chris Brown, who once admitted that his stepdad used to hit his mother, has now been released on bail. He is due to appear in court on 5 March.

Jade plans her boys’ future
She must still be in a state of shock after learning that her cancer has spread, but Jade Goody's main priority remains her two cherished sons Bobby and Freddie. The BB star has been busy making plans for who will take care of her sons if the worst happens, and it is expected that mum her Jackiey, the boys' dad Jeff Brazier and Jade's on/off boyfriend Jack Tweed will share the care duties. A source close to the distraught star revealed, "Everyone is telling Jade to concentrate on getting better, but she wants to plan for her future. The boys are her priority." As well as having a tumour removed from her bowel in the past few days, Jade has now started on a new "miracle" drug which, it is hoped, will go some way towards shrinking the additional tumours. We can't even begin to imagine what Jade must be going through, but as always, our thoughts are with her.

Girls Aloud seek sponsor
Girls Aloud may be national treasures and heatworld favourites, but according to reports they too have been hit by the credit crunch. Just two months before the start of their Out of Control Tour 2009 – for which tickets have sold like hotcakes – the ladies are said to still be looking for a sponsor for the shows, to help cover costs. An insider reveals, "People are nervous about committing money." The band are in talks with two companies, and although a deal is yet to be signed, the 12-week tour – set to be the girls’ biggest and best yet – will definitely still go ahead. Yay!

Abi Titmuss rejects Mickey Rourke’s advances
Abi Titmuss shunned Mickey Rourke’s advances – would you believe? – at the Baftas on Sunday night. The often perma-tanned and dishevelled actor, famed for falling out of clubs, scooped the award for Best Actor for his performance in The Wrestler – and what better way to celebrate than trying to pull John Leslie's ex? Reports suggest that Bafta-winner Mickey invited Abi back to his room for some extra curricular, but was turned down on the spot. Abi said, "The last thing I said to him was, 'No, I won't be sleeping with you tonight, Mickey'." But Abi wasn't the only one caught up in a bit of Bafta flirting... Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel revealed that Sharon Stone had a soft spot for him saying, "Sharon's great, she's been flirting with me all night. She was chasing me around earlier, slapping me. Sharon Stone, can you believe it?"
