This sort of thing would have never happened in the olden days, but in 2009, everyone thinks they’re entitled to be famous. And let’s not pretend we don’t love it. Wayne Rooney’s cousin Stephen has announced that, instead of just prancing around exposing his nipples, he’s found another way to get attention – he’s launching a pop career. The 25 year old – who, along with boob-baring cousin Natalie, was banned from Wayne and Coleen’s wedding – regularly transforms himself into alter ego Coleen Smellybean, and has now recorded a song called So Many Men, So Little Time. Stephen and the equally painfully shy Natalie have also been making a TV show, At Home With The Rooneys. “It's hilarious,” says Natalie, modestly. “We had such a laugh doing it. It's a programme based on the crazy antics that Stephen and I manage to get up to every day.” Oh God, do we watch it or not? It sounds awful, but we have a morbid curiosity about these things…

Why would anybody give them any form of publicity? They're disgusting, talentless leeches who use their cousin's name to get themselves in the limelight. Best ignored by all media!!

I agree with the bad publicity bit, these sort of klingons will be grateful for any crumb of attention they can get, but I think the majority of us on here do not care what these get up to and would really like HW to stop posting stories about them.
