What do you think of Eggnog’s debut single?

The second The X Factor finishes, the race is on for the non-winning finalists – we don’t like to call them losers – to whack out singles before everyone forgets they exist. But we could never forget little Eoghan “Eggnog” Quigg anyway – not with that haircut. The 16 year old is the first of the final few to release his own single, after signing a deal with record label RCA – and this is it, right here, right now, on heatworld. In 28,000 Friends, Eggnog sings about a lady-love who spends more time on social networking sites than she does with him. Golly gosh, how terribly modern. Kids today, eh? It includes the slightly creepy lyric “Don’t send an e-mail, let me touch your face” and sounds a hell of a lot like Busted, which is probably because it was written by James Bourne – you know, the one that wasn’t Charlie or Matt. Anyways, have a little looky and a little listeny and tell us what you think…

Ah - good on him - as cute as a button and the song's very catchy.... just wish the stylists had made him look a little less like a Furby....
