Just as we’re starting to believe that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes might actually be a normal couple, who bicker at Ikea and everything (OK, maybe not Ikea, maybe Habitat), another bit of gossip trickles out from the US that suggests they are actually a bit weird after all. According to reports over in La-La Land, Tom makes Katie write out weekly confessions as part of some sort of Scientology tradition. “Katie has to confess to something as minor as forgetting to tell him she has met with a friend,” says a mysterious source. “If she commits a transgression against the moral code of their marriage, she has to tell Tom in writing, giving full details of the time and place and what happened.” Blimey. You can just imagine it, can’t you? “Forgive me Tom for I have sinned – I went up Bluewater with Posh Spice and bought 78 pairs of shoes and 368 tops.” So, do you believe these bonkers rumours about Katie and Tom, or do you think everyone just wants them to be total freaks?
