We’d pay at least (*rummages in purse*) £8.72 to be a fly on the wall chez Cole today. What should have been a blissful reunion between Cheryl and Ashley after her Kilimanjaro triumph is likely to be considerably more strained given what he’s been up to in her absence. And now there’s more bad news for Ashley – he’s just been voted the most hated celebrity in the country. In a new survey by onepoll.com, Ashley beat the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and Gordon Brown to be labelled Britain’s most loathed individual. “Ashley has obviously managed to annoy quite a lot of people,” says a spokesman for the online poll. “People see Ashley Cole as leading a very privileged life, so the fact that he can't keep his nose clean and stay out of trouble makes people see red. The man has everything anyone could wish for.” It’s kind of odd that one of the country’s most popular ladies is married to someone so universally detested, isn’t it? So, do you think Ashley deserves so much vitriol from the public or is he just misunderstood?
