All the glittering stars of British broadcasting were out in force yesterday – Paul Daniels, Debbie McGee, Clare from Steps, and um, Eamonn Holmes – for the Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) awards. Surprisingly, Strictly Come Dancing trumped The X Factor and The Apprentice to land the best reality TV show. Ooh – wonder what Simon Cowell and Sir Alan would have to say about that? Other highglights included heat fave Alan Carr scooping best TV Personality, while Loose Woman was named the Best Daytime TV show. Gavin & Stacey won best Satellite/digital programme, and EastEnders was named Soap Of The Year, with Top Gear the Best Entertainment Programme. Hurrah. But enough of that nonsense, let's cut to chase and gossip about what they were all wearing…
