Jade wants "as many cuddles from her boys as she can get"
As we reported yesterday, yesterday evening Jade Goody was finally granted her wish and was permitted to leave hospital and return home to Essex. The BB star left hospital wrapped up in a red blanket and clutching her husband Jack's hand, but she was too weak and poorly to manage her usual wave and smile for the cameras. Jade was accompanied on her journey by a specialist nurse from the hospital, and soon after her arrival at her Essex home three Macmillan nurses were seen entering the house. They will now care for Jade 24 hours a day. Jade has always said she wanted to spend her final days at home "surrounded by love – and having as many kisses and cuddles from the boys as she can get". The star's mum Jackiey told reporters at the house yesterday, "The boys will be over the moon when they get home from school." Jade's publicist Max Clifford said last night, "Home is where she wants to be. She wants to spend the time with Jack and the boys and all those close to her." Jade's main concern is keeping the pain under control, with Max explaining, "She wants to get as good a quality of life as possible for however long she has left." Jade's battle with cancer continues to inspire us all, and she remains in our thoughts here at heatworld.

Geri’s ex puts his foot in it
It’s inevitable, isn’t it? The minute you start gushing to all and sundry about "the love of your life", things tend to go a bit tits up. Take, for example, Geri Halliwell’s ex fiancé Fabrizio Politi, who professed his undying love for the ginger one just the day before he was dumped. How embarrassing. Fab told an Italian magazine that Geri had “changed his life”, adding, “I work like a madman, but now I have a sweet something to think about. Geri conquered me because she made me laugh, talk and open up.” Poor thing.
 
Ultimo boss: "Patsy Palmer a bitch"
Don’t expect to see Patsy Palmer landing a lingerie deal any time soon – after a massive bust-up between Patsy and Ultimo boss Michelle Mone on the Celebrity Apprentice. Patsy quit the show, but was persuaded to return, however there’s certainly no love lost between her and Michelle… who’s branded Patsy "bitchy". Michelle explains, “There were some very difficult moments right from the start. I handled them to the best of my ability and I don’t regret how I handled them. I learned you can be firm but fair – you don’t need to be bitchy. All I can say is I’m sure Patsy is very talented at whatever it is she does.” Miaow! But is it just us, or is Michelle throwing the bitchy comments back too?

Pete giving up women AND drugs. Yikes.
This rocker's been in trouble so many times, it could almost be his middle name, but today, on his 30th birthday, Pete Doherty has pledged to turn over a new leaf. Talking about how the public view him, Pete admitted, with surprising clarity, "They [the public] will be able to name ten things about me or to do with me or someone I've been with before, but they'll never be able to name a song. And that is really quite sad." Pete also says he giving up on the ladies for a while, saying he wouldn't want to "inflict himself" on any girl and that he wouldn't want any girl to have anything to do with him or the people he spends his time with. Hmm. He really has seen the light, hasn't he? Perhaps it's because, after many years of struggling, Pete has finally managed to crack (no pun intended, honest) his hard drugs habit. "I've come into my own head a little bit really, being a bit more honest and open, rather than hiding in a crack pipe or wherever," he confesses. So, Pete's given up women and drugs and is now just concentrating on his music. We sincerely, with every single tiny atom of our being, hope he manages to keep things like this. We even sort of like this new, humble and articulate Pete.
