HOW brilliantly OTT was Girls Aloud’s Dancing On Ice performance?!

It’s pretty much the campest show on TV, so we might have known that the campest band in pop, Girls Aloud, would pull out all their stops when they were asked to perform on Dancing On Ice. We can’t help but feel a bit sorry for Cheryl and Kimberley though – they’ve only just come down from an enormous mountain, for gawd’s sake, and now they’re being suspended from the ceiling of a TV studio on tiny bits of string? It makes our tummies flip just thinking about it. We’re also impressed that the girls managed to keep straight faces when Torvill and Dean started flying (literally flying – they’ve got bits of string too!) around in front of them. The whole thing was quite a spectacle, and makes us very glad that the recession clearly hasn’t hit ITV's pyrotechnics budget yet…

The performance was brilliant and spectacular nice to see the soft serene side of girls aloud. Only thing it was spoiled by jane and dean wizzing around taking the attention of the girls other than that bravo

i was in the audience for this and thought it was fab...the girls looked beautiful and really like the new song . and i think torvil and dean have def still got it!! x

Omg Torvill and Dean actually look like drunk parents dancing at a party! Aren't they a bit old to be throwing shapes like that?!
