Amy faces trial after denying assault

Amy Winehouse has pleaded not guilty this morning to assault charges dating back to last September. Looking healthy and wearing a pretty flowery dress, Amy arrived at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court this morning with her dad Mitch where she denied assaulting a woman – reported to be a fan who’d asked for a photo - at a charity ball in London's Berkeley Square on September 26th. The 25 year old singer will now go on trial on July 23rd. In other Amy news, it's been reported today that her husband Blake no-longer-incarcerated-so-what-do-we-call-him-now is demanding a £5 million divorce settlement. Eek. We bet she wishes she was still getting tipsy in St Lucia...
