Shilpa sends a message to Jade

She had hoped to meet with Jade in person one last time, but unfortunately for Celeb BB winner Shilpa Shetty, her ex-fellow housemate was just too ill. Leaving a meeting with Jade's publicist Max Clifford in central London, Shilpa told reporters, "I just hope that the family and she are able to cope with the pain. She is in my prayers." Despite their turbulent history, Jade and Shilpa had become close up to and including the time Jade was given her cancer diagnosis, and it was on the Indian version of Big Brother where Jade was given the awful news. Doesn't all that arguing over a chicken seem so long ago and so trivial now?

Yes I did angel-louie & his observation was spot on. It also occured to me that while they were brainwashing the masses with their tabloid hysteria, what they failed to understand is that they were bullying beyond any reasonable limit.

I agree henrietta r hippo. I miss the good times. I used to love raftart's bazooka hugs and the girlie get together.

Jade isn't very smart, her mum probably didnt give her a good grounding in tolerance and if she sees things like that in the papers she will think its ok. I genuinely think she was ignorant rather than maliciously racist, shilpa's moved on

It's well known that Shilpa and Jade buried the hatchet a while back. I think it's great that Shilpa forgave and forgot however that doesn't make what happened seem trivial at all.
